I've had mine for 2 years and haven't had to sharpen it yet... they claim you only need to sharpen it once every 7 years.
Of course, if your lawn is larger than a half acre, or hilly, it doesn't make sense. And it seems they raised their prices too... so it would take a couple years to pay it off.

Absolutely! Just added "Metal Mickey" into my ipod shuffle "Lawn Mowing Mix" this weekend. :)
I hope you're using one of these... with gas where it is, it'll pay for itself in one season. And, you can hear your music better.

Maybe if I had a zoysia lawn instead of centipede. I could never keep up with the sharpening it would require.
