A True Sleeper

First I thought it was a short.

Then I thought it was a long.

As it turns out, it was best just to leave it alone.

This was the story of today's market.

Here's the stats:
P&L,
-$401
Best, LDK,
$66
Worst, OSK,
-$231
14,200 shares traded.

10 stocks traded. 3 winners, 7 losers.

DINO,
I'm not sure how to say it nicely, but why have you been trading low volume, low beta stocks like OSK lately. I thought you would be trading momentum stock plays, like solar, china, or biotech. Maybe high beta stocks aren't your style, I don't know, I'm just trying to give you some criticism so that maybe you can improve.

Checkout SOLF, another solar play that has more than doubled in the last week. RIDICULOUS. This solar B.S. seems to be the FAD right now. The question is, how to trade it. Maybe options.

HPT,

I appreciate the criticism, it makes me think.

I thought OSK could make a move lower when it opened below $48 today...

However, you're right. In a quiet market you need to find what's moving and trade it.
