Cumulative RO Trader Statistics

Reader Shortbus took the time to make a nice graph of the cumulative performance of the RO through September.

Of course, this doesn't tell the whole story, since I only publish the top 5 and bottom 5 each day, but it makes it very easy to see who the monthly "bosses" are, that's for sure.

Trader D, B, Z, A and F are leading the way and are all up over $200k for the month. Not too shabby, eh?

This may be a "third-tier" blog, but it's full of "first-tier" readers.

NOTE: R.I.P Paul Newman. We should all be so generous.

NOTE II: Oh, and here's your "left-wing media" at work again.

DT,

Here is a good "people that shouldn't trade" vid.

Interesting that most of the gains for the top 6 were in the same 1 week period. You would think with the amount of leverage they were putting into the move you would have some blowups on the downside, but it looks like the RO has fared well so far.

may I suggest in addition to the graph, you should put the data in a table like in Excel and do a total for each person. It's too hard to tell who's what color in that graph.

Mark - we have three graphs and the table complete with total and cumulative totals. For now, we are just testing if this is useful and/or interesting for readers. DT will decide if he continues.

I will see if i can export it into Zoho.com or Google docs and publish it to the public. At the moment I am using Open Office. But I only have the data for the top 5 and bottom 5, not for all traders.

If a trader earns consistent returns but never makes it into the top 5 or bottom 5, the chart does not show them at all. So really only useful if we use all traders returns.

I will see if the chart can show labels of the trader name on the lines, that would make it more clear.

This month was certainly strange in that there were two exceptional days.

DT: We are going to do this all online using Google Docs and publish it for everyone to be able to view it online, so we do not even have to publish it.

This should make the work for you down to minimal each day and zero at the end of the month.

I am lost as to how many traders there are, as the numbers suggest 31 traders.

I will get back to you with the URL, for now just send me whatever data you have for all the traders in any format for last weeks and future.

Now, lets just make sure we have a profitable week, as this one is going to be entertaining.

OT,

Good stuff. Actually, even though it's technically "SFW" it's borderline for this "family blog."
