It was an odd day... I mean, if you look at the coals and ag sector (again) it seems as if you could have made thousands... indeed, some traders in my office did. One dude caught the coal short just right.

In fact, funny story, he was at the beach the whole time and the office manager accidentally covered his shorts, AT THE LOWS yielding him profits of over $10,000... thus the saying, "sometimes it's better to be lucky than good."

Anyway, the volume was also very light, just above Friday's shitty total, so there was also a fair amount of chop. The VO totals show that while there were opportunities out there today, they were tough to catch, no bonanza.

I have to split right now, but I'll write a daily post for this evening.

Seriously though, just once, can't Dylan Ratigan trip into the camera as he stalks it on the floor of the exchange? Talk about a viral video waiting to happen...
