Poop

What is it with 3 year olds and the word "poop?"

I can pretty much ask my daughter anything right now and be sure that at some point in her response, she'll say "poop" and die laughing.

Me: "What do you want for breakfast?"

Answer: "Poop!"

Me: "What are you going to do today?"

Answer: "Go to the park with Mommy... POOP! (laughter...)"

And on and on...

maybe she is interested in fertilizer stocks and is showing an early skill for trading.... or maybe she is hanging out too much with some pre-school potty mouthed boys...

Interesting... I hadn't thought about the ferts... she's gonna be a trader, just like her daddy!

perhaps a poop themed storytime would cure her of using her favorite word. Try Everyone Poops by Gomi.

Funny you should say that. I toilet trained my now 25 year old daughter in about five minutes by singing a song I made up with the word poop. Poop,Poopee,Doop,Poop,Poope,Doop.

Yeah, at least it's just a single occurrence for now. My 8 year old sings entire songs out of it, much like Tradercaddy's above. I probably owe him royalties or something...

When you're sliding into first
And your pants begin to burst
That's diarrhea, diarrhea

When you're sliding into two
And your pants are filled with goo
That's diarrhea, diarrhea

When you're sliding into third
And you feel a greasy turd
That's diarrhea, diarrhea

When you're sliding into home
And your pants are filled with foam
That's diarrhea, diarrhea
