Why? Because you're more interested in getting the candidates to fight with each other and "make news" instead of letting them discuss the issues in a smart and civil manner.
You're absolutely right, I think there a moderator's job is certainly to ask penetrating questions to throw candidates off the script...but this was such a pathetic attempt. It wasn't insightful, it wasn't even remotely close to what she said (and I'm not a supporter), and it was basically one of the most hackish things I've ever seen. He should be banned from moderating any future debates.

Wolf was good IMO. He had a high profile audience and he seemed to perk up a bit. Normally, he puts me to sleep.
Clinton edged out your candidate tonight by a hair. Also, she came up withe best one liner re: it takes a Clinton to clean up after a Bush!
