Happy November Is Over

November was a messy month for me. It featured my worst trade ever, (losing 55 points in FSLR short) and also one of my worst intraday givebacks ever (over $5 grand in under an hour).

In the end, I have been making money more consistently, even if I haven't had huge up days recently.

I don't really feel like writing about my day. It wasn't bad, but that FED trade really pissed me off and I just want to turn off the computer right now.

The Hybrid Market is a disaster even if CNBC won't talk about it (since they broadcast from the floor of the NYSE I guess that could be awkward.) I have hope however, that it will get better.

Have a great weekend.

DT, what do you mean by the "hybrid market"?

The Hybrid Market is what the NYSE rolled out last December. It has largely replaced the old specialist system with robots.

As you know, I hate robots.

Meanwhile, I have a label on the right toolbar that is all about the Hybrid Market. You can learn more there.

Iam with you DT. I had a terrible month also on many differant levels. Hybrid is a a mess. The top guys at the NYSE really screwed up the whole thing from the begining. GS basically runs the NYSE now and they do not care about the floor or the specialists or for Traders in general. I find it really ironic that they created this Hybrid mess for the institutions & hedge funds and they dont even use it. Guys like us support the system and our opinion matters not. I only hope that they have learned from this last mistake and when they roll out "Hybrid" 2 next year it will be better for all of us. Might be pissing in the wind but i can only hope. You will bounce back DT. Have a good one my friend. -tony
