Linkday

I'd like to hear what Danny thinks about these guys. Fast forward to 2:20. Just, sick!

Foresight.

Another life saved by "The Secret."

How about a Fund of Fund of Funds?

Okay, I'm a little twisted, but I can watch this over and over...

Hilarious predictions for 2009. My favorite? "Axl Rose withdraws Chinese Democracy, saying he needs just a little more time to work on it." Meanwhile, vote Jon Swift.

Irony.

Animal Collective is one of my favorite bands. Their new album just got an amazing review. 9.6 from Pitchfork doesn't happen often.

In a public relations effort, Thai police are wearing smiley-face masks.

Did you know that elephants can feel grief?

Calvin & Hobbes on the financial crisis.

Hard to watch but important to see.

My friend just recommended "The Secret." I've Never heard of it, but he was impressed.

You read it?

funny link.

Rage,

Hey, good to see you drop by.

No, I haven't read The Secret. However, if it can save a dude from getting ass-raped in jail, it's probably worth checking out.

I read the secret - if you have read "The Power of Positive Thinking" you are already there, just start implementing it. Or my personal favorite - The T.A.D. Principle. That review was hilarious though.

That BART incident is bullshit. Why is that cop walking around? It pisses me off because it really ties the hands of good cops and their ability to enforce the law and protect themselves.

Oh - and Calvin & Hobbes rule. Always have, always will.

I'm all about the Law of Attraction, but I'd have to say that a shiv is definitely the better tool for obtaining immediate anti-anal-intrusion results in that type of situation!

(@ Ragin': The Secret is actually a watered down version of the stuff here. That concept is pretty much the theme of my blog.)

I also love extreme sports, so the dudes on the skateboards...awesome.

Okay DT, I don't normally care for "link posts" but I have to give you a thumbs up for this first effort. We'll see if you can maintain the quality next week. ;)

AT, Hilarious comment re: the shiv.

You know, I'm not normally a fan of linkfests either, but I'm trying to get away from 4 posts a day that I just slap together quickly, and have a more planned approach here. I'm looking for more space and time to focus on my more writing intensive posts.

And X, totally agree about the cop. It's such a role of responsibility and carries such power of trust, that stuff like that just shakes people.

It's a tough job. They have to enforce the law, but also be model citizens, IMO.

I can barely believe it's possible. I mean, wouldn't a rock here or there completely fuck those guys?

dt: I was thinking the same thing about the rock, especially when they went on the shoulder of the road. But I think those are specially designed boards with shocks and stuff. I think the back wheels rotate as well. I'd like to know what camcorder they used... great quality and image stability.
