Lots Of Reading
I haven't been near the computer much this weekend and I think I'll keep it that way on Monday as well. Instead, I've been reading a bunch of the books that were suggested to me back in this thread.
My father has always read 3 or 4 books at a time and I never understood how he did it. However, I currently find myself reading 5 books at once. I think the trick is that they all should be somewhat different. Then, you just can read one until you tire of it and move on to the next. It's not easy with a 3 year old around, but you learn to make the most of the very early mornings and the late night.
Anyway, so here's what I've been reading...

Liar's Poker by Michael Lewis
Surfing's Greatest Misadventures, Paul Diamond, Ed.

Alright.. my semi-detailed account of losing $7,270.
While I don't generally get up to five books at a time, I do usually have 3-4 in action at once. One is fiction before bed. One is something relatively easy to read on my daily commute. The remainder is for around the house.
Actually, I just finished my most recent around the house book, which was Way of the Turtle (review).
Liar's Poker is fantastic. I read that back around the time it came out (I think).
Sometimes I do the same thing and have a few going at once. I'm back in school, so I've had to read books from The Iliad and currently The Odyssey. I'd also started reading Confessions of a Street Addict (which I'm only still reading just because I started it with only mild interest) and read Dumb Money (another not-so-great read, but it passed the time).
Liar's Poker is a good read. I read it once when I was familiarizing myself with the investment world, then again when I was out of books.
