Virtual Office, $32,581. Dow, -15.69, 12,845.78.

Me, $28,077 on 211,400 shares traded.
HPT, $2200 on 175 contracts traded.
Bubs, $1057 on 2900 shares traded.
OBAT, $723 on 12,200 shares traded.
Evolution, $524 on 58,200 shares traded.
Misstrade, no stock trades.

Wow.

I'm not sure if anyone else noticed this, but the Dow rallied 300 points in the last hour of the day.

Needless to say, the market is freaking crazy right now.

Well, hey, why should the fun stop now? Just because the market ripped here doesn't mean "sub-prime" goes away.

We could get rate cuts, hurricanes, who the heck knows?

The VO kicked ass today. Bubs had his best day ever and I had my best day since the heady days of the year 2000.

NOTE: Oh, and for those who voted the Dow would hit 12,500 before 14,000 you can't declare victory just yet... the low of the day was 12,518...

Nice, Dino! Awesome day! How much were you down today at the worst point?

Great Day Dino, you've been on a great run lately.

Prospectus,

Well, the risk managers would have shut me down at -$1500... I think I made more than I thought early (in that VMC trade) and just lost it all and probably was down less that $1,000 at my lows.

With that many shares, I'm sure it's hard to keep track of the PnL on a trade by trade basis. I was just wondering how many R's you are up. Did you risk $50k to make the $28K, or more like $5k, that kind of thing. No pressure, just curious about how the big guys do things. :)

Prospectus,

No idea how many R's... like I said on Wallstreak (at some point) I called my company to get extra buying power, because I felt it coming. I was probably holding somewhere around a million dollars in stock though... that's where working for a prop firm can help you. More capital to trade with.

Superman,

Hi, I used to read the tape a lot more. I'm actually considering removing the "Bid Size" and "Ask Size" columns from my quote screens now because they don't provide any real information...

I've never used open book. I've always just worried about being right about the inside of the market. That's hard enough for me.

Thanks again guys.
