Not a great day for the VO unless you're name is Misstrade and you can turn water into wine.
Although honorable mention goes to Denarii who has been trapped in a slow grind lately. Nice to see him break out with some good profits today.
The rest of us were on the downside. Some of us, (cough, DT, cough) a little more down than others.
Have a great weekend everybody!

misstrade got to publish his secrete recipe...
Bump and Grind
Would it be possible for each VO member to indicate their respective daily P/L in % (+/-) in addition to daily P/L in $ plus shares traded?
Anon,
Well, it wouldn't be possible for me since I start at 0 every day. If some of the other members have accounts that they are trading from and building on, they are welcome to do so. Although, I think the majority of the VOers may be like me.
I think it's a good suggestion for those who manage accounts. Any of you VOers interested?

I actually had in mind a % P/L for each day rather than a cumulative %. The reason for my suggestion is that, for example, if Misstrade profits $4084 on 05/07 and Denarri profits $405 it appears that Misstrade made 10x as much and therefore produced a better trade(s). However, if Denarri invested less than 10% of Misstrade investment he would have had the better trade(s). I follow the virtual office daily and find it helpful to compare my results with the VOers. Thanks. Steve
Steve,
Glad that you follow the VO daily. It has always helped me gain perspective on my trading day when I check it in relation to others, that's why I started the VO.
However, I don't see us posting a % anytime soon. Most of the VOers are are in and out so much with different sizes on their trades (and so many, I normally make at least 200 trades a day) that it would be very difficult to calculate the money invested and gains/losses in terms of %. At least, I don't see any easy way to do it... and it's sometimes hard to get all the regular P&L from everyone on time. Adding another calculation would probably just slow things down too much.
Again, thanks for checking in on us and I'm sorry I can't accomodate this request right now.
Trade well,
-DT
