In keeping with my attempts at being more "professional" and more "focused" in my work, I've also been trying to read topical stuff when I'm not working; books about finance and financial stuff.
Right now I'm reading "When Genius Failed" about the rise and fall of LTCM and after that I have "The Black Swan" ready to go. I'm simply trying to "immerse" myself in financial stuff, but in a positive way.
I'm looking for finance books that are fun to read. If you have any suggestions, please leave your favorite in the comment section below.

Hey DT.....definitely "on topic", but not in an academic or instructional way.......go for the book (or audio book version from audible...that's what I did)...."Rigged". Some great profiles of NYMEX traders and insight into the NYMEX administration.

Reminiscences of a Stock Operator (E. Lefevre; a classic)
How to Trade in Stocks (J. Livermore)
Jesse Livermore: World's Greatest Stock Trader (R. Smitten)
An American Hedge Fund (T. Sykes)
The Wolf of Wall Street (Jordan Belfort; not a favorite; Scorcese considered doing a movie based on this)
I like Jesse Livermore's take on the market, but that's coming from an outsider.
